Keep the suit you need and add the room your dog or cat needs. The Rear Bilateral & Recovery Suit Extender is a simple add-on that gives slightly larger pets more girth room in the suit size you already trust. If your pet measured just past the recommended fit for a given size, this recovery suit extender lets you stay in that size and widen it, instead of sizing up and losing the snug, supportive fit that makes the suit work. It adds circumference room down the middle, never length.

How the extender works

The extender zips right into the suit's existing zipper. The left side of the extender zipper connects to the left half of the suit's zipper, and the right side connects to the right half. That opens the suit down the middle and widens it, giving your pet extra room around the body. There is nothing to sew and no tools to find. The extender zips in when your pet needs a little more room.

Which suits it fits and what size to order

This extender is made for two suits: the Lick Sleeve Recovery Suit and the Rear Bilateral Suit. Ordering is straightforward. Match the extender size to your suit size, so a size L suit pairs with a size L Extender, a size M suit with a size M Extender, and so on. You are not changing sizes. You are adding room within the size you already have, which keeps the rest of the fit exactly where it should be.

Specifications

Adds girth (circumference) room, not length

Zips into the suit's own zipper to widen it down the middle

Extender size matches your suit size (order the same size as your suit)

Pairs with the Lick Sleeve Recovery Suit and the Rear Bilateral Suit

Part of the vet-designed Lick Sleeve suit system, a calm alternative to the cone

In Summary

If the fit is right everywhere but a little snug around the middle, you do not have to compromise.
