Dr. David Allman, DVM, DACVS

Dr. David Allman, DVM, DACVS, is a board-certified veterinary surgeon and founder of Mobile Veterinary Specialist in Austin, Texas.

A native Austinite, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his veterinary doctorate from Texas A&M University before completing advanced surgical training at Michigan State University.

Specializing in orthopedic and minimally invasive procedures, Dr. Allman pioneered mobile specialty surgical services while also inventing the Lick Sleeve®, an innovative alternative to traditional pet recovery collars. He maintains clinical roles at BEEVET Animal Hospital and serves as CEO of Stryde.

His newest venture is a Veterinary Regional Orthopedic Center opening in Austin, Texas, which will focus on orthopedics and spine care while serving as a learning center for orthopedic surgeons in the region.
