Wonderful product!!!

My 8 year old Pit Bull needed CCL surgery a year after having it done on her other leg. With the lick sleeve , she is comfortable, able to move herself around in a confined space, and eat and drink normally. Last year was a nightmare with the e-collar (cone). I highly recommend you try it. Her sutures are intact, and she cannot touch her incision.
Angela
Works great!! Our doggie is so much more comfortable using this rather than the dreaded e-collar.

Cooper found the LickSleeve to be the perfect recovery tool. He never touched his wound at all while it was covered by the Lick Sleeve, and he got around very comfortably in it. We're sold! In fact for the next recovery, we'll buy a second one so that one can be in the wash while the other is on the dog.
Randy C.
Great for our heeler after her surgery.
Crista M.
Our dog would not leave the stitches on his back knee alone. He bent the Elizabethan collar to reach his leg and he deflated two blow up collars while trying to get to the stitches. Needless to say, we were quite anxious for his recovery but with the Elizabethan collar and Lick Sleeve together, we could rest assured his leg was safe. He even wore the Lick Sleeve two more nights after the stitches came out without the collar.
Eli O.
Worked great at keeping him from licking or biting at leg had acl surgery on. Much better than dealing with the cone.

Our young adult pit bull had to have luxating patella surgery. We tried various post-op cone alternatives: she didn't tolerate full body suits, barely tolerated the comfy cone, and thought the inflatable donut was a toy! The Lick Sleeve was our last resort and it worked beautifully. We used the comfy cone along with the sleeve at first, as I was skeptical of it staying in place, but the wrap around the waist design is secure. We did have to adjust the strap throughout the day, but it was very easy to do. We bought the S and M, as she was between sizes. We kept the M, and the return process was simple and smooth. We did have to trim the length at the bottom. Once we did, it seemed to bother her for some reason, so I just had to do a quick little hem and all was good. Overall, our girl did not try to lick, chew, or try to remove the sleeve. She seemed very comfortable in it and it moved well with her.
Tina B.
The lick sleeve is awesome! My GSD had TPLO surgery and you could tell that he hated the plastic cone and is soooo much happier wearing the sleeve. The only thing I wish is that you didn’t have to take it off when he pees. It’s not that big of deal because it’s so easy to put on. We love it!
Jeffrey S.
My dog had knee surgery. I did not wabt which re knee
Malissa D.
This is an awesome alternative to a cone. My dog loves it!
Heather S.
Licksleeve was recommended by the surgeon that performed TPLO on my nearly 7 yr old cockapoo, Finley. Knowing that she previously had a bad experience when wearing a cone, Licksleeve was suggested. As many before have commented, this was a game changer. Though the Licksleeve strap dislodged once since first using it 4 days ago , I am still happy with overall use and peace of mind. Great customer service, responds in reasonable timeframe, shipping fast. Recommend.
Mike
Amazing product for hard to bandage area
Kevin D.
The Sleeve was great...we could put it on our female pet and not worry about her getting to her incision. She did not do well with the eCone so we got the donut and with the sleeve there was no licking.
Very good product
Thanks
Jan P.
I'm so thankful that we heard about Licksleeve before my dog's TPLO surgery! I definitely feel like it has helped immensely with keeping him from disrupting his incision site and has also eased my mind as well. The incision stays clean and protected and my dog has not really paid that much attention to it thus far at day 6 post surgery.
Marion H.
The concept of this is great...the material is soft and comfy and definitely lick proof. Our dog hated the cone so this did provide a welcome relief from it...but..our little guy soon figured out that if he rolled on the floor or rubbed against things such as the couch etc...that it would move past his butt and fall off no matter how we rearranged or adjusted it. There were a few days where we put it on overnight..came down the next morning and he was out of it with the still fastened sleeve on the floor. We personally did not trust it overnight but definitely used it when we were with him.
Joanne R.
Wow, what a great product. So happy that my vet suggested this upon my “cone of shame” concerns.
My pup is recovering with far less stress and more comfortably.
I highly recommend this product. And insurance reimbursement was a bonus!
Koby K.
Great customer service. My dog acts like there is noting even on his leg!

Your return policy is the best.

We use the Lick sleeve with our dog every day He had TPLO surgery and it helps him to not "mess" with his incision. However, I think that they are not sized quite right. Our guy is 37# and should be in a medium. But the hospital put him in a small and it fits fine.
John H.
Our dog has a hot spot that he kept licking until it got infected and turned into a granuloma. The Lick Sleeve was suggested by his vet, since he won’t tolerate a Cone of Shame. It is a great solution, and we no longer have to constantly watch him, or tell him to stop licking.
However, for what it is, it is very expensive. Also, I paid for FedEx Overnight delivery and it took 4 days to arrive. I’ve sent them an email asking for a refund of the shipping cost, and I’ve received no response.
Anna C.
The only reason i gave 4 start instead of 5 is because it slides down towards his tail and i need to keep pulling up back in place. But it really protects against licking.
Terri D.
Our golden doodle has a lick granuloma. Our vet gave us the traditional cone to get her to leave it alone while it healed up. She hated the cone, couldn’t eat or drink with it on and as soon as we took the cone off she’d have her leg bleeding in less than 5 minutes. I googled cone alternatives and saw the lick sleeve. She’s been wearing it for 5 days and her leg is healing up nicely. I was skeptical about spending $100 on a product I’d never heard of but it’s been well worth it. I’m going to buy a second one to use while this one is being washed and dried. I recommend it to anyone who has a dog with a self destructive licking and chewing disorder. Hopefully if she wears it long enough it might break her of this horrible habit.
Jeff T.
Wonderful product very very efficient and useful for the dogs recovery but I think that somehow the sizes could be better, especially with regards to the medium to large or medium the small
Pat
Worked great no need for the cone!!!
Jennifer H.
After my dog had hip surgery she started to lick a couple of places on her incision site. She got a clean bill of health for the surgery but has created wounds due to licking. They will take approximately 6 weeks to heal. We tried a regular cone but she would flip and buck around, we tried an inflatable cone but she popped it. The lick sleeve is the last option. So far, so good.
Patti W.
I was skeptical but the Lick Sleeve really is a 5 out of 5! Tonks is much happier spending most of her time without a cone/donut (We only use a donut while we sleep as a precaution.) and seems to find the Lick Sleeve very comfy. It is very well thought out and sturdy. I'm glad we found it!
Kylee R.
My dog hates wearing a cone and will rip off any and all bandages. The lick sleeve is perfect for him. 10/10
Nicole P.
A great purchase for my 3 year old lab after having TPLO surgery. She is able to rest during the day and sleep at night, comfortably. She is not a fan of a cone or the kennel so the lick sleeve was a great purchase when she had to be left at home for short periods when I had to go to work. Highly recommend the lick sleeve!
Robin W.
I purchased Lick Sleeve for our 10 year old pup to use after TPLO surgery. Although the sleeve was not inexpensive, it has been amazing in adding to the comfort of our pup. She is able to rest comfortably and does not need a cone. The only issue I’ve run into is that the first few days the leg wound is a bit oozy, so I have had to wash and dry it daily so that her leg does not get infected. Fortunately I have a spare inflatable “donut” that I put on for the short time I need to wash/dry and put it back on.
Sara
It fits well and is easy to use. My dog is able to move freely and heal. She mostly doesn’t seem to notice anything is on her. She is a dog that destroys fabric toys in minutes so I was concerned, but she leaves it alone. I’m very happy I bought it
Heather G.
Sully loves his lick sleeve. Everyone says he looks so comfy.. like he has sweatpants on. Haha!
Lick sleeve has been a life saver for us. We don’t have to worry about him licking his wound.
No cone = no stress or anxiety so he can relax, rest and heal! So grateful!
Cathy D.
I think most of the problem is me. Ginger Snap's Left leg had TPLO. I am left-handed and it felt more like for a right-handed person. I had Ginger Snaps belly all red because I didn't do it correctly.
I think that the Lick Sleeve is a great idea. Me personally it's not a quick put on. Thankfully Ginger Snap has lots of patience with her mom.
Summer E.
I give this company and the device and 5 star because it has saved our dog from more suffering using a cone. She will be using it for the rest of her life unfortunately and fortunately we have Licksleeve to help through it. The company folks who we have dealt with are so compassionate as well as giving great advice. Freedom is a rescue and she has been with us for 7 years now. We are so grateful!

When the vet/surgeon said we could use a Licksleve vs. a cone for our Cocos TPLO repair I almost passed out! I was so worried about how she'd do with the cone and the complications that come with it. We just took the dressing off her incision yesterday and it was dry and healing perfectly! She hasn't once been bothered by the sleeve and pretty much ignores it. Perfect!
Robert L.
This is a great product, very easy to use and my Newfoundland Benjamin is very comfortable wearing it after ACL surgery. Thanks!
Heather P.
This sleeve has been a life saver for our girl, Lola, who is recovering from TPLO surgery.
Candice C.
My Shadow, a Border Collie, had Cruciate surgery and was required to wear an e-collar. This did not go well. He fought it almost constantly to the point of me just taking it off and staying with him to make sure he didn’t lick the incision. I went online and found the Lick Sleeve. A real life saver. Very easy to put on and it protects the incision. He was able to relax and never tried to remove it. I did take it off when I took him outside to go potty, not a problem though, it’s very easy to put back on. I would recommend the Lick Sleeve to anyone!
Sherri H.
It’s a great idea but I have a German Shepard so it fit a little awkward . I had gotten the sleeve because he was licking really bad on his knee after the surgery stitches all healed. But he was still licking the cloth material of the sleeve where the spot was so it made it hard to allow the bare spot to heal it was getting soft and gooey because the wet material sat against it
Robert S.
A godsend for TPLO!
Jess K.
Our sweet girl recently had ACL repair surgery and absolutely will not tolerate a cone. The lick sleeve has been so great for us. We still can’t completely leave her unsupervised until her stitches come out for fear of her chewing on it through the sleeve, but at least we know she’s comfortable and less stressed without the cone, and we can leave her alone for small periods of time safely. (And we can all get some sleep!) It washed up well after day one recovery made it a little gross, and I love the reversibility, since the chances of her tearing her other leg in the future are high. We will get a lot of use out of this, worth every penny!
Janine E.
I have to admit that so far I've only dared to use it when I'm home but that alone is worth it. I don't have to be constantly watching him. I am much more relaxed and he seems quite comfortable.
I would probably use it more often but I live alone and getting it on with a happy lab that just wants to lie down and rub his belly has been difficult. I have to put it on when he's standing and eating....because he is a lab and food takes precedent over belly rubs!
Carlos P.
My dog needed the lick sleeve and luckily lick sleeve material and performance were suitable for his needs. Maybe it's not an ideal solution for every injury, but it's worked out well so far for my dog's recovery.
Bronwyn H.
The lick sleeve was a lifesaver during my dogs TPLO recovery! She’s a tripod and was having a really rough time with the typical e-collar and couldn’t get real rest or make it through short walks without banging her head into things. The lick sleeve made her infinitely more comfortable and was able to get us through the entire incision healing process without problems.
With her missing back leg she did have an easier time wriggling out of the sleeve unintentionally as she changed positions, so we still rely on the traditional cone overnight to be safe.
Cant recommend highly enough!
Dawn G.
She has hotspots from licking her leg. I have tried everything to stop her from licking. Bandage/tape, old socks transformed in a protective measure, old support socks, dog booties over bandages, some other protective sleeve, she would get them off and either eat the bandages (I freak out that she’s going to have a bowel blockage, so far no, keeping
We’ve had it about a week, YEA! She has not bothered it. Finally her hotspots are healing.
Joelle K.
The lick sleeve has been a life saver after my dog’s TPLO surgery. It fits perfectly and I do not need to worry about him licking or pulling it off. So glad I made this purchase!
Anne A.
Our dog had a double TPLO proceedure. We had prepared for one and had one lick sleeve. We went out and put him in his crate with his lick sleeve on one leg and a cone. We thought he would be fine until we returned. He has a very long body and neck and was able to lick the leg without the lick sleeve around the cone. We had an infection develop. We purchased a second Lick Sleeve to protect the leg and he has recovered well. The incisions have closed and the infection was eliminated.
The one negative is it is hard for him to urinate with 2 bands around his tummy and not get his sleeves wet. I wish there was a better design to leave the penis more open and the sleeves dry.
Ursula B.
I purchased the Lick Sleeve to use post TPLO surgery on my 175 lb Great Pyrenees/ New Foundland because he is so big this was the perfect solution to having to use the cone of shame. I am happy to hear that there is a newer model being developed by Lick Sleeve for the Giant Breeds with hopefully a longer belly band
So far it has kept my guy from licking or biting his incision sight ♥️ I recommend this product Also it is truly reversible for either Left or Right leg.
Marilyn
Thank goodness for Lick Sleeve! My little Bichon Frise’s ligament was completely torn and she had to have major surgery to repair it, which included cutting into her knee bone and attaching a metal plate with screws! A long recovery to say the least! She absolutely hates wearing the cone, so we researched and found out about the Lick Sleeve. Received it quickly and it was a great alternative for her and helped us all get through her recovery process. She wore it until her stitches were removed. I would highly recommend this product. Many thanks!
Lisa A.
Macie had her second TPLO about 6 weeks ago and we used the lick sleeve. She did FABULOUS with it. When we would take it off to check her incision she was very watchful of what we did with HER lick sleeve. She wanted it back!!! She was so funny. I wish we had it 2 years ago with her first one. Even now that she doesn’t need it, if we pull it out to use on her brother when he starts licking too much from his allergies she is right there checking it out as if to say “hey, that is mine”. Lol
Debra F.
Our 80 lb rottie girl had TPLO surgery. It helped having the lick sleeve on her when she was laying near us without her cone. She was happy to get out of the cone and we were happy to have her feeling more comfortable. Nice, easy to use product. Nice material, too. The stickers on the side came off, but I just used a marker to show right (R) and left (L) sides. Going potty was NO problem while wearing it either!
Scott A.
I am very pleased with the Licksleeve for post TPLO surgery. It has kept my dog from having to wear the e-collar for the most part.
Laura U.
The sleeve is well made and allows an alternative to the cone.
PJ
Best thing I have ever purchased for my dog (love of my life)! I wish I had purchased one when he had the surgery on his other knee/leg!! His orthopedic Vet now wants to purchase them to use for the dogs she treates. The surgeon who operated on him recommended the Lick Sleeve. My dog is a Bichon that weighs about 15 pounds. I purchased the XS... is perfect!
Eric
Work's as advertised!
Melody K.
This has been awesome. He absolutely HATES the cone and with the sleeve on, he doesn’t need it! It’s really easy to put on and take off. We take it off and walk him to do his business, then it goes right back on. He’s comfortable and used to the routine. It comes off each night and he sleeps with the cone, which is fine because he won’t walk with the cone on. I’m so glad we got this. It’s expensive, yes. I wish it was half the price considering all the vet bills, but the peace of mind is nice.
Judi S.
My dog is having surgery tomorrow so we have yet to use the product, but my experience with the company has been top notch so far… I’d be happy to rate the lick sleeve once it’s on my dog.
Kate C.
2nd time we bought product! Left first one in Ohio! Was wearing cone for 3 weeks, could not stand it! Ordered Lick Sleeve asap! Wonderful product!
Cynthia J.
Loving the lick sleeve. Three day post op. She is much happier as she isn’t wearing a cone. Seems much more comfortable and the wound looks great as she can’t lick!
Ashley B.
Kiya took the cone off before we ever made it home, so I absolutely knew she wouldn’t leave it on for 2 weeks. Thankfully, I rushed a Lick Sleeve overnight and it has been a life saver! I love the material and that I can adjust the tightness for her. I really do not know how we would be managing these 2 weeks without it!
Jeanie B.
My girl was miserable wearing the hard cone. The doughnut wasn’t any better. The lick sleeve made her after surgery care so much easier. She didn’t mind wearing it and didn’t bother it at all. So glad we found it.
Diane C.
I just wish I had found you late last year. My Doberman tore her ACL and she had surgery along with a 14 week recovery period. Then after a period of 6 months she developed an infection. Treatment with antibiotics went well. Not soon after that she had another infection. We discovered her body rejected the plate and screws were the root cause. Her bones healed well. We had the plate and screws removed last week. I received the sleeve just in time. I would recommend it for any dog . Since the recent surgery she is a different dog. She just turned 8 years old this month. She has the energy of a young puppy. Can’t wait to get back to full activity.
Tamatha J.
Using the lick sleeve instead of a cone has been a life saver. Our dog had surgery on her knee and was given the option of wearing a cone for 2 weeks or wearing a lick sleeve. No brainer. The cone is so stressful for her. As for the lick sleeve- she doesn’t seem to notice it’s there. I purchased 2 so I could rotate them while one was being washed.
Dee M.
I was not sure about this Lick Sleeve. By the time I found it my dog was half way through the post surgery. I have decided to keep it. Its just too nice and I figure if I need it later for him, hopefully not… I will have it. Its so well made and the fabric is wonderful. Its the only one that is not complicated to put on my dog. The customer service, wonderful, very responsive and helpful. I must have missed it in the instructions about left / right side, you just turn it inside out. Again, I cannot say enough about this produce and the company.
Thank you for giving me the best possible ‘sleeve’ for my dog.
Alix L.
Game changer for TPLO recovery. Our dog does NOT do well with cones, and the Lick Sleeve has been amazing! We can ice right on top of it, its easy to clean, and has enabled us to have a MUCH less stressful recovery. Thank you!
Deborha C.
It folds over on her back. The leg part keeps falling over her paw, this makes her not want to put weight on it. We love that she doesn't have to wear the cone.
Scott V.
Absolutely great product thanks
Sherry N.
My Cavashon had ACL surgery, she was able to navigate around the cone, so we bought this sleeve. I think EVERY vet should send you home with one of these. It keeps it clean, and they cannot get to the incision - win win! Love this thing!
Shaddi K.
This item is a Wonderful replacement for a cone. It is secure and reasonably comfortable for my dog. The fabric is soft and not itchy and flexible. It also appears to be pretty durable. The only issue I had with it is that my dog had a total hip replacement on her left side and her sutures were high on her thigh. In a situation like this, I think I would size up so that there is More coverage on the hip area. Otherwise it did discourage her from licking it so even though the bandage was not completely covered, she did not mess with it. I would recommend this item.
Sue G.
Service was awesome. FedEx didn't deliver ours so the company sent another overnight. The fit is okay. Taking off for a male dog to go out is a bit of a pain. I do recommend it over other options.
Sarah F.
Love this. The cone caused way to much stress to both of us. Easy to use after a practice run putting it on by myself with her lying down. Customer service exceptional which was a pleasure too. Even exchanged for the wrong size I first got without issue (the other will be mailed back monday). Thank you so much for an amazing product.
Deanna M.
The Lick Sleeve has been perfect for our Golden Doodle following her surgery to repair a broken tibia and fibula. My husband referred to it as “Lululemon athletic wear for dogs!” It’s protective, slides on easily and fits comfortably.
Robert H.
So I am not going to return the item cus this is a small business in Austin and I support local. But it didn’t fit properly for my dogs incision which sucks. It does seem high quality and is really nice ! I love the idea and had it fit the position of my dogs wound it would be perfect. I pray this company does well and think you should get one. They are high quality. Good luck !
Craig H.
after minor surgery on her rear leg, we needed to protect the wound until it healed and keep her from licking it. The choices were the Lick Sleeve or a cone.
With the Lick Sleeve she could walk normally, go in and out the dog door, urinate and have bowel movements (without removing the Sleeve), eat and drink water without any issues.
The cone restricts her from the dog door, normal eating and drinking out of a bowl, and using the stairs...plus bumping into everything along her path. The Lick Sleeve is clearly a better choice.
Mark P.
We tried a cone first. Our dog still licked and bit her wound on one of her hind legs. The wound, covered by the sleeve is healing nicely now.
Amanda C.
Our dog has done so well with her Lick Sleeve! We put it on her immediately after her ACL surgery and she has not bothered her leg at all. We are able to keep the cone off of her most of the time. It is well made, it keeps her wound clean, and it fits her just right! I am so glad we found this for her recovery and we are grateful it came fast and as expected. I cannot say enough good things :)
Ellen W.
Comfortable for dog but tends to slip toward tail.
S S.
Best investment Post surgical TPLO. I don't need an e- collar with this lick sleeve. My great dane does not even know it is on her. We are 3 days post op and she sleeps with it, and can even urinate and defecate with it on. Ingenious.... Love it has it is secure and does not fall down.
Damon V.
This thing is a game changer. Easy to put on and is a great alternative if your dog does not like the cone. Great product. Thanks
Angie C.
I was so happy to get this , my dog had just had knee surgery and he hated the cone of shame .. it came 2 days after his surgery and he refused to let me put it in him.. Iam a single dog mom and I tried a few times, but my big guy wouldn't let me anywhere by his knee :(. So I would suggest to order this early so you have it right after surgery and they can put it on right after surgery.
Cynthia A.
My dog had TPLO surgery. The Lick Sleeve has worked very well in keeping the surgery site clean and dry. It is easy to put on and is very soft. My Lab doesn't mind wearing it and it allows him not to have the cone on. My one complaint is that it needs to be removed when he needs to urinate. We tried moving it around but he still urinated on it and defication was messy, too.
We love that it is protecting his incision but wish it was easier to take care of toilet calls.
Jennifer B.
Using the Lick Sleeve has made our pup's recovery so much easier! Not having to use the dreaded e-collar (except when he's left alone in his crate) is such a relief, and using the sleeve is easy and functions as a sling when taking him for his short walks too!
rocky t.
This is the most amazing perfect product! Our dog had TPLO surgery and the cone was a nightmare. His incision became infected. The lick sleeve protected him!!! The reviews say you need to take it off so a male dog can go to the bathroom but if you adjust it just behind the male parts he can go just fine without removing it. I tried to take a photo to show that it doesn’t impede his ability to go. No removal necessary. And so far no chafing or other issues and he’s been in it for 2 weeks. Highly recommend and will be suggesting the vet offer these instead of the miserable cone. Also tried other devices from other sellers and they don’t work. The lick sleeve is perfectly engineered! You will be so happy you got this. Don’t wait!
Linda W.
The best option so far to keep my dog from licking and biting at the large wart on her hind leg. So far, she hasn't gotten the sleeve off, though she does manage to push it aside enough to dislodge the bandage underneath it. She's right in between a medium and a large (50 pound English Setter) and I bought a large, so it's a tad looser than I could be, and might work better if it were a little tighter. The sleeve isn't waterproof, so I use duct tape over the wart area to keep her from getting the bandage wet by licking the outside of the sleeve.
Kathryn F.
The sleeve has been very helpful for my dog’s recovery after knee surgery. She was not a big fan of the cone, but wouldn’t leave the incision alone. Once the sleeve was on, she stopped trying to get to the stitches. The material is great - soft but sturdy - and I appreciate that she can’t bite through it and irritate the incision. Sizing wise I made a best guess and went with the Large - she is wider around the mid section but has shorter legs (65 pounds). The sleeve is a bit long on her and goes past her toes. I rolled it up a few times so she didn’t trip on it and that works just fine. The strap around her back does slide down so that she can wiggle out of it occasionally, but I think that’s due to how it fits on her specifically.
Overall, this product is great and has made the post knee surgery experience less stressful for everyone.
Carrie G.
I love this product. I think the design is a great idea. However we could not use it because it wraps around the lower belly and our dog is extremely sensitive in the area. I think it would have worked great with for a female dog. I had to return it but would recommend it to anyone.
Jeff Z.
Photo is from before her surgery. Just making sure it didn’t bother her. Post surgery, I had to pull it off and wash it after the first night due to discharge from the incision and incontinence while recovering from the anesthesia. I am left trying to improvise while I clean and dry the sleeve. It would be nice if Lick Sleeve offered a discounted 2 pack so they could be traded out when cleaning one.
Julie V.
Our dog had to have knee surgery and the Vet recommended the Lick Sleeve. it is a good product. It is very soft and has a good size amount of material to wrap around the dog's belly which helps it not chafe or cause irritation. Our dog has very sensitive skin and we didn't have any reactions with this. After day 3, she figured out how to get out of it. She would lay on her back and wiggle around until it eventually slid off her behind and she could slip out of it. We did make a few adjustments and tightened it but she was relentless and would wiggle around for as long as it took to get it off. She doesn't like any type of clothes on so I figured she would bite at it to get it off, I just didn't expect her to actually get it off.
Amanda W.
Better than expected. This sleeve is a life saver!!! I have M.S. and I was worried about my pup with having to have the cone on to take to the bathroom with my walking instability and her during the night maybe scratching her surgical site with the plastic from the cone if she moved her head just the right way.
The sleeve was so easy to put on, the app very easy to use, and my girl isn’t having any fear especially being away from me as she heals.
Christy T.
Such a lifesaver! Not only does the lick sleeve protect my dogs surgery site, it also keeps him warm when I walk him out in the freezing cold air. I love the fit and the convenience.
Denise M.
Love it! So glad I didn’t have to use the cone. Sabrina has a little belly on her but short legs so got a large. Had to cut and fold the leg length but it works great!
Marjorie W.
My Golden Retriever blew out his knee before the age of 2. He is a big energetic boy. I used this lick sleeve when he had his surgery. It has to be one of the best ever inventions. My boy was comfortable, slept well without having to use a cone. I iced his knee through the sleeve. I used 2 so I could launder one. it stays put when on so sliding. It is soft breathable and very, very easy to use. Nothing else on the market compares!
Judith B.
Very good. Feel comfortable.
Elizabeth S.
I was afraid my dog (85 lb Vizsla) would chew the Lick Sleeve to pieces, but he actually tolerated it very well. The fabric is comfortable and it did deter him from licking. I began using it as a 2nd defense as he would get his "vet issued" cone off in the middle of the night. Rarely he also wriggles out of the sleeve at night, but I believe this is just because of moving around in his sleep and not him actually trying to get it off. I used his measurements to settle on the XL size.
Hopefully I won't have an occasion to use it again, but if I do, I know the Lick Sleeve will work.
Jennifer S.
It stays on! The only drawback is having to remove it for my dog to urinate. Since we have a dog door, this has been challenging. But, still better than the cone!!
Deirdra S.
My GSP had TPLO surgery and the lick sleeve has been so easy to use and helps keep her much more comfortable. I highly recommend the Lick Sleeve
.
Amy C.
I am very happy with this purchase. My girl even likes it because I think she feels that the sleeve is protecting her leg. She did have an accident in the middle of the night day 5 or 6 post op while laying on her bed. Some urine got on the lick sleeve so I hand washed it and let it hung up to dry. The right leg emblem started peeling off right away. I would prefer to have the words or letters of R and L sewn onto the sides instead. I intend to hold onto this and save it for the other leg, should that one also need surgery. I would highly recommend although it is a little pricey, in my opinion. It is a much better option than using a cone.
Nancy P.
So much better than a cone or inflatable cone.
Bradley D.
This is a lifesaver, highly recommended if you’re dog doesn’t like the Ecollar.
