Very happy with the lick sleeve. My dog had TPLO surgery last week and I know how much she hates wearing a cone. The sleeve was perfect for her to wear and protect her incision and stitches from her licking but still comfortable for her to wear.

Very cute like pjs & functional!!
The licksleeve works great for after CCL surgery. We use it during the day while we can keep an eye on him but we do put the e-collar back on at night or while unsupervised. Our dog does not do well with the cone so the licksleeve provides some relief from it. It's very easy to put on but we did wait a few days until after the surgery to first use it. It was easier once he could toe tap to slip it on. We got the large for our 75lb labrador.

This has been a life saver for Wallace! No licking the wound after TPLO surgery thanks to the Lick Sleeve. We haven't had to use a cone because we have this and Wallace has been bery good wth it on. Thank you!

The lick sleeve has been a crucial part of the healing process. She cannot lick the stitches or the surgical area and it gives her a sense of support especially with her hair having been shaved. We leave it off more now than we were because of how she appeared to feel more comfortable with it on.

Sizing instructions were easy to follow. Very easy to put on. absolutely beats a cone of shame.
This was an absolute lifesaver!! He hated the cone, and deals with the sweatpant if it means no cone. We got a large at first,and it was sadly too big.. Customer service was amazing and shipped a medium out overnight for us to swap out the large with. Yukio is my doggos name, and he is inbetween sizes...the medium was a bit small but we made it work! This has helped make his tplo surgery recovery go much more smoothly. Thank you for great customer service and thank you for a product that actually works!

Great company and great product. I called with questions and they were absolutely amazing. So helpful. The lick sleeve is a fabulous design. Super easy to put on and take off. My dog had no issue with it and it kept her from licking her staples. And better yet, she didn’t have to wear her e collar! I am so grateful that I found out about lick sleeve. It was a game changer for my dogs recovery.
Eight days prior to Pearl’s spay and gastropexy surgeries, I thought I was prepared. Our recovery suits from our other two Danes were washed and ready to go. Then I tried a suit on Pearl and I was glad I did. Four recovery suits, all the same size (2XL), ready to go, and they DID NOT FIT!! Pearl is a big girl and I found myself in a panic. After my daughter did a little research, we decided to call Lick Sleeve with a couple of questions. Henry was amazing, answering all my questions. I had my suits within 2 days via FedEx. The Lick Sleeve suits were a much better fit. Thankfully, Pearl no longer resembled The Incredible Hulk as she did with our original suits here at home. Definitely an improvement, but still snug throughout the chest. Three or four extra inches in length would have been ideal. However, I was thrilled to have a suit that was not cutting off her circulation. For two weeks of recovery, these would work! Henry followed up, asking about the fit. I explained I was happy to have the Lick Sleeve recovery suits and felt fortunate to have found this company. We could make these work and avoid an E-Collar. I don’t know of a single dog who enjoys the “cone of shame.” Henry took it a step further, said something to their designer, and within a matter of days they had created a prototype suit that added inches through the chest. Pearl is recovering as expected and she is comfortable in her recovery suit. I am beyond impressed with this company. A great product AND an outstanding company. I will spread the word to my many friends who own dogs. Wash in cold water and air dry, they wash up beautifully. **Sidenote: I was singing Lick Sleeve’s praises to my veterinarian. These suits are the best! I wasn’t telling him anything he didn’t already know. He said they’ve been using Lick Sleeve with all their orthopedic surgeries for quite some time.

This worked so well. We would’ve had to use a cone if this didn’t work. He never licked his surgery sight while wearing this. It was a life saver. He would not have done well with a come. Highly recommend

Little loose but she is a bulldog so the waist is a little smaller. Easy to use and she cannot get to her incision.

The lick sleeve has been great. No more bulky cone. It comes off and goes back on easily. My large lab did excellent post op knee surgery. I would recommend this to any dog owner for post-op recovery.
My very difficult patient, Paco, allows me to put the Lick Sleeve on, and due to the excellent design, it's very quick and easy. But, he's clever and the exact height of the coffee table so he found if he circled under the table eventually the clasp would slide off. Noice in the picture I put bed risers under the table legs! 😄 Fixed that issue. Thanks Lick Sleeve for making this quality product! So soft and cool.
I ordered the whole body suit and the leg cover. The body suit fit when my dog stood still, but she had a difficult time moving in it. She is somewhat barrel-chested, and the top of the leg coverings came too far down for her to move easily. The single leg cover was wonderful - an absolute game-changer, and I shared the link with our vet. The fabric on both was lightweight and comfortable. Highly recommend!
My dog had ACL surgery and I have to say the lick sleeve is a god sent!!! We have a soft cone too but didn’t need that once we put this on. We feel she is so comfortable with it on and so far has never been bothered by it!!! You do obviously have to fix it with just a little pull up. Also if it’s too long you can cuff up which we did. Highly recommended it!!! Thank you 🐾

Overall, the sleeve worked well. Due to our dogs body shape (she's thick) it did tend to slide off her hind end while she was moving around in her sleep.
Excellent product! Our Maggie has been super comfortable with this sleeve! We bought a cheaper sleeve on Amazon which works fine but you have to secure it to a collar (which is not a comfortable option) or a harness which is better but not as good as Lick Sleeve. The cheaper sleeve is good for a day while you are washing the Lick Sleeve, but all in all, Maggie was more comfortable with Lick Sleeve. Our pet insurance, Embrace, even paid 80%(after annual deductible )of the cost of the sleeve. I highly recommend this product HANDS DOWN!
The LickSleeve offered great peace of mind during Murphy's TPLO surgery. He would not tolerate a cone, it made him absolutely furious, but did not mind the LickSleeve a bit. He never tried licking through it or getting it off, so I can't attest to how it holds up to that, but it was obviously very comfortable for him to wear (see picture of him sleeping in his favorite position!). He wore it for about 8 hours a day while I was at work and the incision seemed to breathe just fine through the fabric. I absolutely love that it is reversible, as he is having the TPLO done on the other leg in a few weeks. 1000% worth every penny.
The lick sleeve has been amazing addition to the healing process of my girl. It kept her from licking her sore and reminded her to be cautious and careful with her leg. This product is well worth it. A blessing
I ordered the wrong size. We had to use it no other choice in so little time . Wish I had a large instead of extra large had to tie it up on him.
Lick Sleeve is what we were sent home from the Vet with after our girl had TPLO surgery. We got a second one so we could rotate while we washed them. They were a life saver and I highly recommend. It is reversible, so we can use it again when she blows out her other knee (we were warned by the vet that this would most likely happen). It stayed up well, was very protective, yet she was comfortable as well.
They were very responsive and able to return. I was over priced on my shipping and they handled that right away with a call. This company is fantastic.
The directions for use on the front legs are pretty weak. However, once fitted, it worked perfectly. Much more comfortable for my dog and me. Don't ever use the cone of shame again!
WOW! what a game changer. So much better than fighting with a cone and/or wrappings. Easy to get on his leg, though if it is damp it takes a little more pulling. I can see on a female this is very easy to adjust. We have a male, so have learned to work around his 'business' so it doesn't get pinched. T H A N K you for this invention!
This was perfect for our dog who is obsessed with licking his knee after surgery. We tried a less expensive option we got off Amazon, and regret that. The Lick Sleeve worked so much better. Better material, easier to put on, and the buckle is so much better than the Velcro the other one had.
Scout had TPLO surgery and her doctor recommended getting a Lick Sleeve as Scout has a neurological issue that makes wearing a cone impossible. I measured her per the online instructions, watched one of the online videos to learn how to put the lick sleeve on properly, and it has been smooth sailing. This was such a good investment and her recovery has been SO EASY.
