We really like the lick sleeve. We trim the bottom to get the best fit for our labrador.Sometimes it does slip off his butt area but overall it works great.

Lick Sleeve kept my pup from having to wear the cone of shame after his TPLO surgery!
This is such a life saver!! Keeps that awful cone off of our sweet little lady while she heals from TPLO surgery. It fits well and is so easy to get on and off. I highly recommend getting one. Worth every penny.
My dog had TPLO surgery, he wore this sleeve 24/7 for a week before stitches were removed. I was fortunate that my dog didn’t really bother his stitches by licking to much. I did have to wash the sleeve by hand washing and do not put sleeve in drier as it will shrink the sleeve. Therefore since the sleeve needs to be air dried and it takes hours to dry I suggest having 2 sleeves on hand, so that while one is drying you can use the 2nd sleeve. This made things a lot easier.
The dog tolerated it so much better than a cone.
We had to take it in because the small was way too big for my 19 pound chiweenie, but now it works perfectly! It seems comfortable and she has not even tried to get it off. Also we ordered right leg, but it was set up for left leg. But once we turned it around and reversed the clasp it works great!
We had tried another leg sleeve for our Red Tic Coon ound and it failed after 3 weeks. He destroyed it. He did very good, actually excellent with the Lick Sleeve.
The sleeve allows my dog to be more comfortable during his surgery recovery. I ditched the cone and used the sleeve and a donut instead. The sleeve allows for air flow and yet keeps his incision protected.
Our cavachon had TPLO surgery and this sleeve worked great. She’s 17# for reference. The sleeve was a bit stretchy and breathable. Our vet actually recommended it and we had ready bought one. Highly recommend!
Our dog had lateral knee surgery and the lick sleeve allowed us not stress our dog with a cone. She had to wear it 2 weeks with no issues.
Overall, the Licksleeve has been successful, and way more comfy for my dog than the traditional cone. It’s easy to use and washable. However, it won’t stay on my Cocker Spaniel. Ella had her acl(ccl) repaired, and I opted to purchase this instead of the cone. No matter how tight it is, the straps slide off her back and she steps out of the sleeve. Maybe her back end is slanted down more than most dogs which allows for the slow slide. Luckily, I can go home for lunch so I’m able to put it back on within a reasonable amount of time. I don’t think this is a flaw in the item, but that the sleeve isn’t a perfect fit for all dogs. Ella is a calm dog so that helps keep it in longer. Even though the licksleeve is expensive at $108 with shipping (there is no standard shipping so you have no choice but to pay extra for 2 day), it is still better for an animal’s comfort than the cone or noodles others use.

I love the Lick Sleeve surgical suit and leg sleeve for Wynchester’s recovery! The suit fits him comfortably and gives me peace of mind, while the leg sleeve adds protection for his healing leg. He looks so much more relaxed in them. 🐾❤️

Amazing product and amazing company. I bought a size too small and my pup was going in for surgery the next day. I called Lick Sleeve and they fast shipped a larger size to me, told me to re try both after our pup came out of surgery before we decide which one to return. Amazing customer service. The product has been a lifesaver to keep us off a cone for 2 weeks. Seems incredibly comfortable- stays put overnight.

This is our second lick sleeve, and we love it. It has helped so much with keep Axel from licking his hind leg. The only reason we needed a second one was so that I could have a fresh one while cleaning the other. A year of use and still as good as new.
Our dog had CCL surgery. She would have definitely licked at her sutures. We bought two Lick Sleeves as she lacked bladder control following the surgery. Yes, they are expensive. However, they work well and I didn't find anything else on the market that I thought would really work.
It was wonderful for Doolin not to have to wear a cone for his TPLO surgery recovery.
Our blue heeler, Bosco, had to have TPLO surgery & this was a life saver. We started with just the right leg sleeve, but he wiggled out of it.We had to add a donut on his neck till his new lick sleeve jumpsuit arrived. Should’ve went with a L instead of XL. Measure twice! We cut the front legs too quickly, so I couldn’t return it. We just rolled up his sleeves! Washes up great. Worth every penny 🐾

Easy to take off and on
I ordered the Lick Sleeve for my 92 lb goldendoodle who had to have TPLO surgery. The sleeve has been so helpful in keeping her incision protected from the outside elements as well as her licking or irritating it. It fits well and is easy to take on and off so that we can keep an eye on her incision as it heals and my pup does not seem bothered by it in any way, thankfully.
Fits my 17 lb Cavalier King Charles perfectly.
My crazy boxer girl had TPLO surgery. She went home with a cone that prevented her from licking the area. However, we have a second dog and the wild card I didn’t quite think about. How was I going to prevent my other dog from licking the surgical site?? The lick sleeve was a great solution. It’s a little pricey for a piece of fabric with clips but way less than the cost of a surgical revision if she got infected.
Does the trick. Easy to wash. Soft material. My dog likes to wear it.
The leg sleeve was an absolute lifesaver after our Black Lab’s cruciate surgery. She is truly a licker and even though we had the cone on her at night, this gave us such peace of mind to know she was doubly protected During the day, we did not keep the cone on our dog, and even though she was in our sight, there were times that she went to lick her leg and this was a wonderful barrier It fit well and was very comfortable for her
I was promised 2 day delivery but it was ground. Therefore, it was late so I had 2 days without the sleeve after my dog's surgery.
Perfect solution for my pup who had surgery and was a master at removing his own staples! My vet loved it so much they are looking into carrying it at their practice. It’s not full-proof and will slip off occasionally but it got us through the 1st 2 weeks after surgery and things were miserable before we received the sleeve.
My dog Ginger loves it! She hates wearing the "cone of shame". Recovering from knee surgery, she had to be confined to a small space and while wearing the cone she couldn't rest very well and was very restless. She's much more comfortable now and sleeps much better.
The Lick Sleeve was very helpful for our dog Zola after surgery on her leg. It kept the incision clean. Most importantly, she did not bother the incision!

My Golden had TPLO surgery. It is so much more comfortable for him than the cone. Thankfully he's not a chewer though. I have to take it off when he needs to go outside but when he comes back in he actually lifts his foot so I can put it back on! So glad I decided to buy it.
My dog had CCL surgery. He could lick his surgical site in spite of a cone. The licky sleeve saved us. He’s so much more comfortable, he’s able to eat and sleep better, and he leaves the incision alone. I was worried about putting something occlusive over a new incision, but this has enough air circulation in it, that his incision has healed really nicely. I used the recommended size and it fit very well. Couldn’t be happier.
