What is the Rear Bilateral & Recovery Suit Extender and what does it do?

It is an add-on that widens your dog's recovery suit, giving slightly larger dogs more girth room in the suit size you already own. It adds circumference, not length.

My dog is between sizes for the recovery suit. Do I size up or use an extender?

If your dog fits the length and shape of a size but needs a little more room around the body, the extender lets you keep that size and add girth room. It is made for the between-sizes dog who does not need a whole size larger.

How does the extender attach?

It zips into the suit's existing zipper. The left side of the extender connects to the left half of the suit zipper and the right side to the right half, widening the suit down the middle. No tools and no sewing.

Does the extender add length or width?

Width only. It adds girth (circumference) room. It does not make the suit longer.

What size extender do I order?

Match the extender size to your suit size. A size L suit pairs with a size L Extender.

Rear Bilateral & Recovery Suit Extender

Between sizes? Keep the suit you need and add the room your dog or cat needs. The Rear Bilateral & Recovery Suit Extender is a simple add-on that gives slightly larger pets more girth room in the suit size you already trust. It adds circumference room down the middle, never length.

How the extender works

The extender zips right into the suit's existing zipper. The left side of the extender zipper connects to the left half of the suit's zipper, and the right side connects to the right half. The extender zips in when your pet needs a little more room.

Which suits it fits and what size to order

Match the extender size to your suit size, so a size L suit pairs with a size L Extender, a size M suit with a size M Extender, and so on. You are not changing sizes. You are adding room within the size you already have, which keeps the rest of the fit exactly where it should be.
