Katie’s surgeon recommended lick sleeve, so when right to your website. She has no complaints. I tell everyone about you. Try doing Instagram. I see Farmers Dog which I feed Katie Bugs there all the time. Good luck!!! Hope your business grows. Stay honest and fair and won’t have big problems. Thanks for a great product. You may want to reach out to vet hospitals & they work with letting patients know about the sleeve instead of the cone.
Kathy L.
The lick sleeve is so easy to use and put on. It’s comfortable and soft. Our dog didn’t have any issues with it whatsoever. Stays put and can be worn for our male dog to use while doing his business outside.
Dana W.
Great product and company to work with. I had a last minute change with the address it was being shipped to and they called FedEx and took care of it for me. Excellent customer service.
Katie L.
Our six year old shepherd mix had TPLO surgery and this sleeve was the only thing she tolerated to protect her incision. So glad we purchased!
Amy D.
My mastiff had to have a mast cell tumor removed off of his thigh. The incision was 6 inches long. He is notoriously difficult to keep a cone on so I purchased a licksleeve. It has worked great at keeping him away from the wound as well as creating a barrier from dirty and debris.
Norma T.
Little pricey that's my only complaint..
Robin G.
Our dog had ACL surgery ... the sleeve has been so helpful in her healing / recovery. She doesn't fuss with her staples at all when she has her sleeve on. She hated the cone.
Rhonda G.
Great product. Our dog, so far, has not had to wear the cone after TPLO surgery by Dr. Ricker in Tulsa. Using the sleeve as a sling is really a great idea for the one step we have to use to go outside. Would highly recommend after TPLO surgery.

Commandé pour remplacer la colerette. Colis livrer rapidement. Très satisfaite de mon achat
Marge M.
Dog was able to wiggle out of it in 2 days
She did great with it until we had to leave her for 2 hours
Michael L.
Worked like a charm. Very use to put and well tolerated by a Husky!
Faith J.
It stays on really well, is breathable and comfortable.
Jill L.
The XS is working great on my maltese that just had knee surgery/torn ACL. She doesn't have to wear a cone! The surgeon put her LickSleeve on in the office when we picked her up after surgery. It looks comfortable and she is not bothered by it at all.
Maureen M.
My dog is getting TPLO surgery today, so I can only review the fit. She is a lean 65-62 pound english lab and her waist was in the middle range of large. I measured her leg from her backbone to the bottom of her hock before the bend of her foot, which was also in the middle of the large range. The fit is perfect. The sleeve just skims her leg, not too loose or too tight. The fabric is very smooth and glides on easily. The construction is sturdy and the design seems well thought out.
After spending so much on surgery I'm glad I spent a little extra on a sleeve that will protect her incision and she can wear comfortably.
Janice M.
Working perfect!

I have a 117 lb GSD who has a broken elbow on his left front leg. It was repaired surgically with several screws and plates. The vet re the Lick Sleeve to cover the incision and recommended I I get another one so they could be washed and changed daily because of fluid drainage. I have used these two XL Lick Sleeves for 4 weeks and even though I have used them on his front leg they work fantastically well!! I would highly recommend this product for any post operative situation. I used it on the front leg at the vet suggestion, but it is designed for rear leg use!! As far as I can see it works equaly well for both front and rear leg situations!! As I said I cannot recommend this product enough, it works well and is extremely well made and great quality!!

Irene N.
She looks unhappy due to her surgery but this lick sleeve has been a life saver. No bulky cones. She’s comfortable and we are thrilled because it’s secure and stays in place.
Evi G.
Louie just had TPLO surgery 13 days ago on his right rear leg. We were introduced to the sleeve by his surgeon. He wears the Lick Sleeve 24/7, we ordered a second one. I love the fabric, he never smells or attempts to lick his area and the best part is he does not need to wear his cone.
Thank you Lick Sleeve Folks, I have been recommending this to all my pet friends that may need it.
Ashley M.
Perfect fit. Easy to use and does the job.
Cynthia L.
Your product was an amazing alternative to the cone. It helped my dog heal from a leg issue. The Lick Sleeve worked as advertised! The hardest thing I had was that there were no clear instructions (or videos) on how to use on front legs - I had to experiment on how to get it on.
Marge M.
Dog was able to get it off when we weren’t home
Elizabeth M.
Great fit for a small dog, a 14-pound poochon. Size was XS.
She had a generic variety previously that didn't fit well, and she removed it immediately.
Karen J.
Worked out great. Stayed secure and our dog didn’t mess with it.
Terra H.
So much more comfortable for our pup than a cone!
We were impressed with the quality of the product and how well it fit our terrier. A couple things to note however:
- We left her cone on for the first couple days after her surgery to make sure she wasn't overly attempting to lick or bite at the incision. We then felt like it was safe to move to the Lick Sleeve.
- The fabric does loosen after only a couple of days use (be sure to keep the strap tightened as the fabric stretches out. Washing the sleeve brought it back to its original size
- Be sure to keep check on your pup regularly. It is possible for the sleeve to come off by slipping down the backside of your dog if they are sitting and moving around (it can slide down and off like a pair of pants.)

The lick sleeve is easy to put on and our dog seems perfectly comfortable wearing it while recovering from her TPLO.
Philip M.
My girl Sadie had ACL surgery and was supposed to where a plastic cone so she would not lick her incisions. She was banging up our walls and my wife and I. I got the little inflatable surgery doughnut, but it didn’t prevent her from licking.. we went back to the surgeon to get laser therapy and she had been licking her leg and a couple staples came out. The surgeon and therapist recommended the licking sleeve and it worked great. She wore the sleeve for about three weeks and everything healed great.
Jo Anne B.
I had a positive experience ordering and received the sleeve promptly. My dog is using it and seems comfortable. So far so good! Thank you.
Marybeth S.
Love this. I ordered an extra small and was worried since my dog is super fluffy. Cones and donuts don't work well because he has so much hair. This fits well and my dog is so much more comfortable wearing this.
Terri S.
Helped protect her wound better than having nothing
Leanne J.
Love the Lick Sleeve! Our golden retriever had her first TPLO 6 months ago, then last month tore the other ACL. :(
We refuse to use the plastic lampshade on her, so carried the burden of watching her every minute to be sure she didn't lick the incision. Not an easy task. But then we found the Lick Sleeve and all 3 of us slept through the night! It's so easy to put on, she seems very comfortable in it. My only issue is the buckle is large and thick and lands at her hip, so when she lays on that side, I'm worried it's uncomfortable. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
Pavica K.
The lick sleeve has been great! We still use the E-collar when our dog is crated to extra protection, but the rest of the time the lick sleeve does the job. So easy to adjust and the stretchy material seems comfortable for our pup. Glad we tried this - would recommend to anyone going through a TPLO.
Tiffany L.
Not sure how I feel about this product. While I appreciate the initial concept, for male dogs I feel it's too restrictive of their anatomy. In theory this is a good idea.
Kara R.
Our dog Onyx loves her Lick Sleeve!! Very easy to use, machine washable and reversible! Replaced the cone of shame!
Jeni B.
Love how you can use it on both legs! My dog has to have surgery in both legs but one at a time.
Kimberly D.
Best product on the market. Worth every single penny and more! Comfortable, stays in place and adjustable for perfect fit. Highly recommend.
Gene A.
Worked fine - easily adjustable
Brigitte B.
The Small Lick Sleeve fits well on the waist (girth) and left leg diameter for our 16 lb Lhasa Apso. We trimmed 2 inches off the bottom hem and folded it up one inch. She is comfortable and is able to sleep, eat, walk, and take doggy breaks easily. Her ACL repair is completely protected. Thank you so much. I highly recommend this product.
Whitney B.
Works great on our shepherd who just had TPLO surgery. Our vet that did the surgery recommended the Lick Sleeve and it was worth every penny! Just be sure to measure your pup before ordering to ensure you’re getting the correct size!
Patti S.
I’m giving this a 5 out of 5, because it allows us to sleep, knowing Molly can’t get directly to her incision (knee surgery). I think this is the best design out there; although, I think there may be slight room for improvement in the fit around the abdominal area. We take it off when we take her outside to go to bathroom, since she peed on it once. Also, You have to be careful not to make it too tight or it will irritate the skin where the I guess hip and belly meet. It is well worth the price. The material is fantastic— stretchable and breathable. Don’t waste your money on anything else. If you like peace of mind and sleep, this is for you…and your bestie!
Barbara L.
Worked great for our Belle after surgery!
Jasmine M.
A nice, comfortable alternative for my dog that struggled with many different type of cones.
Patricia S.
There should be a loop on the flat strap to keep the adjustable strap from slipping back and forth.
Terri S.
Worked well except wish it had a waterproof covering . Dog licked the sleeve, made it wet and opened her wound a little. Vet provided a cone of shame but she was still able to reach her sore.
Chrissy S.
This recovery sleeve has made Evie’s TPLO surgery post op care so much more compliant , without the bulky E-collar. The Lick Sleeve is easy to apply , is soft and comfortable and protects her stapled incision.
Barbara B.
The Lick Sleeve has really helped in these early weeks of recovery. We recommend it 100% - an excellent, quality product!
Bernard S.
Overall it is a good product but it slips off my dog 2 or 3 times a day.
Jennifer S.
My vet recommended this for my dog's upcoming surgery. As you can see, it fits Mason perfectly. His surgery is in a month, and I keep putting it on him to get used to it. The quality of it is great, nicely made and the fabric is soft. I like that it is reversable for his left or right leg. I know this will help him heal.
Luna D.
The Licksleeve has certainly been helpful for us with our big furbaby’s surgical recovery. The only change we would make is to have ordered a size smaller. She is 85lbs and we went with the XL. She could have easily used the L. We have a lot of extra material and we are continually adjusting but it’s serving its purpose so we are pleased with that. Her incision looks amazing 2 weeks post op. Thank you for offering this wonderful alternative to the dreaded cone of shame. We know she’s been more comfy with it.
Christina M.
Easy ordering, quick delivery and great product!
Samantha R.
I’d give the Lick Sleeve 10 stars if I could. It’s been a game changer and a life saver. Our dog had TPLO surgery about a week ago and he absolutely refused to wear an e-collar or donut. Having the Lick Sleeve on hand provided the protection for his incision that’s so crucial while healing and gave us peace of mind. Our dog hasn’t bothered his incision once, hasn’t even tried.
The Lick Sleeve is easy to put on, the material is stretchy and repels liquid. Best of all it hang dries quickly!
Can’t recommend this product enough for your pups recovering from surgery. It’s a must have and worth every penny.
Samantha R.
Appreciate the free returns for the low cost, but I appreciate the Lick Sleeve even more! It works so well we don’t need the free return!
Lori S.
This is a brilliant idea for post-surgery pups! The material feels very comfortable, and my dog has not even tried to take it off. It looks so much better than her exposed post-surgery leg, and it keeps her leg clean. I take it off for a while each day to check out her incision. No problems at all! Great product!
celeste s.
Great leg sleeve. It stays on and esy to wash and dry.
Barbara B.
It works! After our Goldendoodle had CCL & meniscus surgery, she was wearing the "cone of shame." She bumped into everyone and everything! Once the lick sleeve arrived, we were able to easily put it on her leg and remove the cone. The sleeve is a game changer! THANK YOU!
cheryl v.
Easy to use and it is very soft!
Katelyn O.
The lick sleeve has been amazing, kept our pup from wearing the cone of shame!
Adrea M.
My lab had MMP surgery and this sleeve has been a life saver! She already has high anxiety so it was a big NO on the cone. We measured her as specified and her sleeve fit her perfect. It is the perfect barrier between her licking her incision, for applying ice packs and keeping her leg clean. It was loose enough around her knee where her incision was able to breathe. We have only had to put a cone on her long enough to wash it and this lick sleeve washed perfectly with no breakdown of the quality!
Elisheva B.
Did the truck! My dog had a hotspot and chewed all the hair off the length of his left hind leg. Nothing worked. He even managed to find a way around the cone. The lick sleeve worked. He only had to wear it for a week and then he stopped. Thank you!!
Laura T.
L ho solo provato a mettere perché l intervento di TPLO lo fa il 7 agosto, comunque mi sembra bene, anche se il mio cane corso non sta fermo e pesa 85 chili!

Our girl needed TTA knee surgery. We purchased the Lick Sleeve in hopes of limiting the Cone of Shame and keep her stiches in place. We needed to make a few adjustments which were easy to do. Our Mabel is a stocky 58 pound Rez mutt. We bought a medium and large size since she fell between the measurements. Kept the large size and returned the medium. Needed to cut the material near the bottom of her leg so we could easily slip the sleeve on over her swollen knee. Worked great. No cone needed. Very much recommend the lick sleeve when your fur baby needs it.
Wendy R.
Kindest staff ever. Knew answers to my questions and gave me and my Labrador the best service. HIGHLY recommend!
Beverly S.
We have a white with pink skin pitbull whose job it is to lick herself to death. We are awaiting surgery on a hemangioma on her inner right thigh and before the lick sleeve she almost bled to death. She still licks the sleeve sometimes but not enough to cause anymore damage. Wish I had it sooner.
Karen M.
We send these home with every knee surgery client
Esther P.
It helped but the large was too big and the medium may have been too small . It kept my dog wound clean and stitches were in tack . I will definitely recommend it
Candie D.
Great tool! So glad I spent the money. Makes a huge difference. Love that it's keeping the wound clean while it's still healing. Theon may try to lick when it likely itches but I'm keeping lickimats on hand to redirect him :-)
Josh F.
Works as designed with minimul discomfort (doesn't bother him). Easy to take on and off and clean. My only gripe is it's pricey for what it is, but it is a quality product.
Margaret D.
Although my dog won’t be needing the sleeve it is made well and is exactly what was needed for post ACL surgery. We don’t like the cone of shame, as it called , so the sleeve as a perfect alternative
Shelley B.
What a great alternative to use on our TPLO procedures versus having to use a cone. Our clients are so happy when they see they aren't having to place their dogs in cones for their recovery.
Tracey S.
My dog had both ACL’s repaired at the same time. The lick sleeves were game changers!
Suseela J.
Like most dogs, my boy doesn’t like to wear cones or donuts. He is also has a very long body and long legs so he needs extra large donuts and cones which are even more uncomfortable. After struggling through one TPLO surgery dealing with donuts and cones, I was told about lick sleeves. I honestly looked at cheaper options on Amazon, but read reviews about people buying cheaper sleeves and have issues with wound healing because their dogs still licked the incision site and the fabric soaked up the saliva and created issues. A few reviews said save your money and just order the original lick sleeve. I did, and I’m so upset I didn’t know about this before the first surgery. I made sure to order it before surgery so he could wear it and get used to it beforehand to make it easier after surgery. The app has been such an added bonus! It’s very helpful and has videos embedded that are very helpful. I couldn’t put the sleeve on the day of surgery because his paw was a bit tender, but I was able to put it on the following day and he’s been wearing it ever since. He lets me put it on and patiently waits for me to take it off before we go out. I know it can be used as a sling as well, but I prefer to use a regular sling because I’m worried he’s going to pee on it and then I won’t be able to use it while it’s being washed and dried. I love that it’s reversible, but I’m hoping I’ll never need it again! But I like that it can be used on both hind legs as well as the front legs. Glad I made this purchase, but wish I had known a few months ago so I could have used it for our first surgery as well!
Vivian H.
Easy to put on, lightweight. Difficult to have my male dog urinate (did not want to take it off and on him. He just had to learn to lift the opposite leg but was resistant. Unfortunately, he still licked on top of the sleeve so we had to revert to the uncomfortable cone.
Eliot M.
Overall the Lick Sleeve was well made and fit our dog exceptionally well. The service from Lick Sleeve was excellent when we had issues with tearing of the sleeve. Twice the sleeve was replaced quickly and without questions. The downside is we still needed to use a cone on our dog for two weeks as she quickly licked or bite through the Lick Sleeve. The bottom line: it was excellent for protecting the bandages and keeping everything clean, BUT you may still have to use a cone.
Alison B.
So far so good! We just put Sookie’s Licksleeve on and she seems fine with keeping it on. She has seasonal allergies that make her lick hot spots on her leg. My fingers are crossed that it does the trick!
Roberta G.
Otis, my Olde English Bulldog, had his second TPLO (thank goodness they only have 2 back legs!).....
The first one was done 4 years ago. I never knew there could be an alternative for the nasty cone.... then I discovered the Lick Sleeve,
what a wonderful product!
This sleeve is well made, soft, comfortable, stretchable , easy to put on, and is adjustable for a male dog.
This sleeve covered, protected his stitches... he didn't pay attention to the sleeve, didn't chew or tug at it, his suture line was intact, kept clean.
Thank you for creating this Lick Sleeve! A life saver for both Otis and myself, Roberta
Lisa P.
Our dog just had knee surgery. Using the sleeve and a donut has been the best combination to prevent our dog from damaging her incision site.
Domenic M.
The Lick Sleeve truly made a difficult time so much easier. I’m beyond grateful for it and highly recommend it!
Betsey K.
I wouldn’t recommend for an injury on or very near a the hip joint. Love the concept and wish it had worked.
Gail M.
I ordered your product on the advice of an Amazon reviewer. She was reviewing a much inferior product which I had ordered. Most of the products on Amazon have the foam sleeve connected to a strap connected to a collar. They are torture for your dog! They choke they overheat they stink! I figured that since I had spent hundreds of dollars on my dog's surgery that the cost of a lick sleeve was worth it. I am so surprised that my vet and none of the techs had any experience or recommendations. Even local small business shops could not give me advice. My dog is a licker and I do not like using a hard cone. The lick sleeve is a thin polyester fabric that stretches and holds on to the shape of the leg. I love the way it secures around the belly. I've already washed it three times, in a garment bag, with other clothes. It washes well. It dries quickly, air drying, and holds its shape. It's genius that one leg sleeve can be right or left! This is a very good product. It is worth the money. Forget Amazon.
Kim Z.
I have a senecio German shepherd mix weighing in at 90 pounds who has had a hot spot who won’t stop licking. The sleeve has been amazing when I’m not home to watch him. It goes on very easily and stays secure. He wears it to bed too without a bother. We bought an XL for him and it is perfect. Highly recommend
Jennifer V.
The Licksleeve has been very successful for our Newfie that just had hip replacement surgery. The first day home he started to get a skin infection on his neck due to being a slurpy guy and wearing a cone. We were able to take the cone off because of the Licksleeve, it covered his incision. This product is super easy to put on, our dog could go potty without the need to take off. I highly recommend the Licksleeve.
Chris R.
Excellent customer service
Well made product
Works very well for need
Second dog we have used on
Highly recommend
Michael I.
I think it’s the best way to go for your pet instead of the cone!!!
Donna W.
Loved the sleeve! So much better looking than the “cone of shame”! Will pass your product on to other pet owners. Thank you for such a good product!
Suzanne U.
It seemed to work at first but my dog has figured out how to get the sleeve off. For the money that I paid for this I expected it to be more effective.
Tim B.
This sleeve is soft yet supportive. It slides on our GSP easily. Her surgical site is covered and safe from her licking or scratching. We have an 8 yr old GSP and ordered the sz lg sleeve.
Pam B.
Our dog had surgery on her hip. Lick Sleeve has helped to keep the drainage for the site from dripping in our house. In the first few days after surgery, we tucked a long gauze pad inside the sleeve for added absorbency. We were able to wash the sleeve whenever necessary. A week out of surgery she continues to wear it to protect her from licking the site as a heals. This product is expensive, but it is giving us peace of mind.
Melanie C.
My dog doesn’t like it at all and it fits weird.
Ann D.
I bought one size too large but it still worked sufficiently. I didn’t have enough time to complete an exchange. Besides preventing licking, it created a nice barrier for icing post-surgery. Thank you!!
LYNN W.
I have ordered 3 of these. My dog chewed off the first two fasteners, so I highly recommend using a cone along with this. I would purchase again.
Scott S.
Customer service is great the first would keep slipping off her back so they sent me the large which unfortunately to tight and would eventually do the same thing
Like the idea just didn't work for us maybe it the way we use it
But I would recommend it
Jean F.
My pup has had a few surgeries to remove growths and cysts and had to wear a cone so many times. I was trying to find something else and a local pet store told me about the lick sleeve. Game changer!! This made his healing time so much easier! He’ll never have to wear a cone or collar again!!
Greg S.
Lick sleeve has been a great product, easy to use and much better than the cone!
Juan C.
I tried LickSleeve in the postoperative period of two dogs, one of them under a TPLO surgery (it fit him perfectly on his hind limb) and another one under a revision surgery of the elbow (it didn't fit him very well). I'm still waiting for the owner's opinion of the sleeve.
Holly B.
SO much better than the dreaded cone of shame!!
Domenic M.
Can’t recommend this enough!!! Made a terrible situation so much better and it worked amazingly well!
Martha A.
The lick sleeve works very well. I do have a complaint. It is very overpriced compared to other devices to deter licking. The surgery is overwhelmingly expensive and add to that an overpriced item is disappointing to an elder on set income.
